I had a fantastic stay at Hotel Sol Playa, located just two minutes from the quieter Playa 88 beach. the rooms were spacious, clean, and included balconies. The hotel was peaceful at night, providing a great calm for relaxation, although I did experience some minor noise from dogs barking occasionally. Overall, this hotel is a great value in an excellent location away from the busier part of Playa del Carmen.
